Corporate History
- 1973
- Established Honda Kaihatsu Kogyo Co., Ltd. The company principle is "to contribute to society through culture, education, and sports."
- 1975
- Acquired the Pearl Country Club in Oahu, Hawaii. Started management of a public golf course as a tribute to the local community.
- 1976
- Established the Honda International Technical School aiming for the enrichment of automobile technology worldwide. (Became Honda Gakuen in 1980.)
- 1985
- Established Honda Associates Division as a response to the needs of Honda Motor Company. Started translation and interpretation services in order to support Honda's global business activities.
- 1989
- Established Honda Kaihatsu Kogyo USA Inc. (HKK USA) as a California corporation.
- 1993
- Honda Motor Company Co. Ltd., Honda Kaihatsu Co. Ltd., and Mobility Land Co. Ltd. became affiliated as stockholders.
